Ty Tabernik PhD, CPIM, CLTD, CSCP, PMP

Ty taught his first CPIM classes back in 1982 and has been teaching APICS certification preparation courses ever since. He is an Associate Instructor with ASCM/APICS and has taught exam preparation classes for the CPIM, CLTD and CSCP exams. Ty has work experience in the process industry, discreet manufacturing, and warehouse/distribution as well as retail. Ty has also consulted with over 40 organizations nationwide to help improve their process and procedures resulting in significant savings for those firms.

As a Professor in the Skinner School of Business and Technology at Trevecca Nazarene University, Ty has taught a wide-range of courses in production, project management, and IT. Ty holds the PMI PMP certification as well as having been certified in Scrum and Agile techniques. Ty has a Masters in Industrial Technology from Purdue, a Masters in Healthcare Informatics and Information Management from UTHSC, an MBA from Trevecca, as well as a Masters in Instructional Design from MTSU.

This combination of experience and education across many disciplines serves to bring the real-world to the audience from a unique perspective. The goal is to assist the participants to achieve and to contribute to the success of the organization.
